Manchu Lakshmi Supports Rhea, Why Silent On Rakul?

Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic death and the months long investigation has brought the conversation back on Bollywood and drug addiction. The late actor’s partner Rhea Chakraborty was sent to judicial custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in relation to a drug link in the case.

Heroines Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor were quizzed by NCB. Before ending the interrogation, the NCB officials seized the mobile phones of these actors for more clues in the drug probe related to Sushant Singh Rajput death.

Bollywood has divided over drug scandal. While some support Deepika Padukone and others in the issue, some others including director Vivek Agnihotri claim that drugs have been normalized in Bollywood by powerful people.

Coming to Tollywood, not anyone in the industry is speaking out over the issue. Earlier, Manchu Lakshmi demanded justice for Sushant, though she reacted sharply at the media's reportage of prime accused in the case Rhea Chakraborty and called it 'lynching'. Many others followed Lakshmi and supported Rhea.

But, Manchu Lakshmi who is one of the best friends of Rakul Preet Singh is maintaining silence after the latter was named in drugs scandal and was quizzed by NCB. Not just Lakshmi, nobody spoke about the issue. Apparently, they don’t want to get involved in the matter and invite unnecessary trouble!
