SP Balasubrahmanyam’s Last Photo In Hospital

Here’s last picture of acclaimed singer Sp Balasubrahmanyam in MGM Healthcare in Chennai. He appears very weak here, while getting treated by group of doctors. SP Balu was put on maximal life support system after his health deteriorated. Unfortunately, he passed away today.

Sp Balasubrahmanyam had been at MGM Healthcare in Chennai since August 5th, after he tested positive for coronavirus. The official statement from MGM Healthcare said that despite maximal life support measures, the singer died of a cardio-respiratory arrest. He had tested negative for Covid-19 on September 5.

Ironically, before he tested positive for coronavirus, Sp Balasubrahmanyam had composed and sung a song to create awareness about the deadly pathogen. He had shown mild symptoms of Covid-19 initially, and despite being advised home quarantine, had chosen to be admitted to the hospital for the health of his family.
