Vijay Deverakonda To Play Abhinandan Varthaman

Youth crazy star Vijay Deverakonda is making his Bollywood debut with a Pan India film Fighter being directed by Puri Jagannadh. Vijay who is romancing Ananya Pandey in the film will be seen as a mixed martial artist. Now, if reports are to be believed, Vijay Deverakonda has signed his straight Bollywood film.

The film on Balakot Air Strike will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor and Vijay Deverakonda will play the role of Wing Commander and national hero Abhinandan Varthaman who was kept captive in Pakistan for 60 hours following the India-Pakistan standoff.

The film will trace the Pulwama attack, the air strike and Abhinandan's time in captivity in the neighboring country and his return to India.

Though Vijay Deverakonda loved the script, he is yet to sign the dotted line. If he agrees to do the film, then it is expected to be turning point for him in Bollywood!
