Perhaps, this is the first time in history! The AP high court's strange verdict in a case made the Media houses across India shell-shocked. The other day, the HC issued a Gag order to the Media not to publish nor telecast Amaravati land scams issue in which a former AG and an apex court sitting judge's daughter names are also connected.
The editorial desks and the journos of top Media houses reacted to HC's gag order. While India Today's editor expressed his surprise with the gag order, Times Group felt the verdict unconstitutional. The editors of Caravan, The News Minute and others rebuked HC's verdict. And these journos' opinions were published by Sakshi Media on Thursday.
On the other hand, YSRCP MPs on Thursday protested with placards against the HC verdict in front of parliament. They demanded a CBI probe on Amaravati land scams.
On the other hand, YCP's leaders and Media spokespersons are seen expressing their anguish. Minister Botsa questioned why shouldn't investigations are done with the scams indulged in by the previous government (TDP)
