Nithiin Rang De Gets Crazy Offer, But

If a grapevine is to be believed, hero Nithiin’s next venture Rang De gets massive offer for OTT rights from ZEE 5. They reportedly offered Rs 38.2 Cr which is one of the biggest offers for a Telugu film. However, the makers are mulling over two options- whether to go for this offer or try pay per view model.

However, many suggest that, pay per view is not a good and workable idea. People are watching films on OTT platforms because they are available at free of cost. But, they are not ready to spend extra money to watch films on OTT platforms. ATT turned out to be flop because of pay per view model.

Movie buffs despite talk of the film would watch second rung to top star films on OTT platforms. But, they do not like to spend if a film gets negative or divide talk.

So, makers of Rang De should go for the offer from ZEE 5. The film directed by Venky Atluri features Keerthy Suresh in female lead role. Teaser of the film was released ahead of Nithiin’s wedding and it received positive response.
