Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Superstar Mahesh Babu have an immense fan following among all sections of people. Their films irrespective of the results gross record collections. Mahesh Babu did 26 films and Pawan Kalyan starred in 25 films.

Pawan Kalyan made his entry with Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi in 1996. Though his first two films turned out to be average grossers, he scored five blockbusters on a trot. But he got a huge shock in the form of Jhonny which turned out to be a disaster. The film directed by Pawan Kalyan himself bombed at the box office.

Right after that he got four flops in a row. They include Gudumba Shankar, Balu, Bangaram and Annavaram. The songs in Gudumba Shankar however turned out to be hit. Pawan scored a super hit in the form of Jalsa.

But even before he could breathe easy, he tasted three flops. His film Komaram Puli for which AR Rahman scored the music, failed at the box office. Teenmaar and Panjaa also followed suit tanking at the box office. Pawan scored a blockbuster with Gabbar Singh. However, he once again tasted flops in form of Sardar Gabbar Singh, Katamarayudu and his milestone 25thfilm Angyaathavaasi turned out to be the biggest disaster in his career.

Mahesh Babu made his entry in 1999 with Rajakumarudu and tasted his first flop with Vamsi. Though the film turned out to be a flop, it is memorable for Mahesh as he and Namrata fell in love while romancing in the movie. Mahesh got a Nandi award for Takkari Donga but the film tanked at the box office. His film Bobby bombed at the box office. Though his film Nijam had a good story, the film failed at the box office.

Mahesh Babu’s Nani turned out to be utter flop. Mahesh however scored a hit with Pokiri. But he tasted hat trick flops. They include Sainikudu, Atidhi and Khaleja. Even his experimental film 1-Nenokkadine left without a trace. Same is the case with his film Brahmotsavam. Even his film Spyder turned out to be a disaster.

Irrespective of these many flops in their career, both Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu earned huge fame and are enjoying top star status.
