Directors Smart Planning, Not Waiting For Stars!

Generally directors have no leisure time. Other cast and crew might have found it difficult to handle the corona pandemic and the subsequent lockdown imposed across the country, but Tollywood directors utilized the free time smartly to pen different stories for their next.

Krish, who shot a few scenes for Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Viroopaksha, after the lockdown, changed his strategy. He readied a new story and started his next project with Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh. The shoot is currently underway in Vikarabad Forest. He is working with the strategy to wrap up this project before Pawan Kalyan wraps up his upcoming entertainer Vakeel Saab, so that he can resume shooting of Viroopaksha.

Other directors who announced new projects with the stars are waiting eagerly to start shootings. Stars dreams collapsed like a pack of cards due to corona. Their upcoming projects may get delayed even more. But directors without wasting time are planning new projects with other heroes.

Surender Reddy planned a project with Pawan Kalyan. Given it will take at least one to two years for Pawan Kalyan to complete his prior commitments, Reddy lined up his next with Akhil. He is also in talks to make a film with megastar Chiranjeevi.

Harish Shankar has not only readied the story for Pawan Kalyan and in the meantime he started his next on Vedantham Raghavaiah with Sunil. He is not directing, but is producing the movie, besides penning story. Harsih Shankar is also doing web-series.

Sukumar too is planning to start his next before he resumes shoot of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. He readied stories for webseries and also for his banner Sukumar Writings.

Koratala Siva who is set to direct Chiranjeevi’s Acharya, lined up another project with Allu Arjun. Puri Jagannadh who is busy with Vijay Deverakonda’s Fighter is planning pan India entertainers. He is said to have readied scripts for his next 4 to 4 films.

Trivikram Srinivas is set to direct young tiger NTR in Ayinanu Poyiravale Hastinaku and buzz is he is penning script for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake on which Pawan Kalyan is showing immense interest. Sekhar Kammula who is busy with Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story is readying his next.
