Chiru’s Advise Worked Wonders For SDT!

Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej attained stardom in no time with consecutive hits in his early stage of career. But, then he botched to pick right subjects and directors, resulting in facing back to back flops. SDT took break, before starting Chitralahari and he came strongly with the Kishore Tirumala directorial becoming a hit.

SDT scored biggest hit of his career with his last film Prathi Roju Pandage. The film directed by Maruthi collected Rs 33.91 Cr worldwide in its full run. Now, many are wondering what the secret of Tej’s successful journey is.

We reliably learnt that, Sai Dharam Tej decreased his pay for his last few films. He charged 30 to 40% less pay to what he usually takes home for Chitralahari, PRP and now Solo Brathuke So Better. So, producers could wrap up the films on limited budget and could pocket profits.

It is also heard that, it was megastar Chiranjeevi who advised SDT to decrease his pay. Chiru knows how things work and he estimated extra budgets spent on Tej’s previous films was the reasons behind those films incurring huge losses to producers.

SDT has now decided to charge as per the market value of his films. Hope, other Tollywood stars will follow Tej for the well-being of Telugu cinema and producers!
