Amaravati to Lose Capital Status?

Three capitals decision for Andhra Pradesh by the ruling YSRCP is considered a futile strategy by many political analysts. "Instead of declaring three capitals, better shift the capital merely from Amaravati to Vizag," advised the analysts to the ruling party some days ago.

It seems the ruling party is contemplating to take the advice of the critics. AP minister Kodali Nani has made some serious comments on capital shifting which created tremors among the opposition groups.

"The government wanted to distribute house sites to 55000 poor farmers. However, the TDP created hurdles against the poor receiving the house sites. Amaravati is now unfit to be the legislative capital either. It'd be better it's capital status is cancelled as no one here is getting benefitted. The protesters here are supported by the TDP and the realtors. If at all the TDP withdraws its petition against the distribution of house site to the poor, I won't hesitate resigning my minister post, Kodali Nani said.

Apparently, TDP's wicked strategies to ruin the government's initiative of decentralizing the administration turned a futile exercise as the government is mulling over the complete shift of the capital from Amaravati to Vizag, which in fact, is the best ever strategy for capital issue.

On the other hand, TDP has metamorphosed as a villain for the poor farmers who are eagerly awaiting to receive the documents of the house sites from the government. Unintentionally, TDP cleared the decks for the ruling party to make Vizag an executive and legislative capital without unharming Kurnool the judicial capital.
