Tollywood veteran actor and comedian Jaya Prakash Reddy passed away today due to cardiac arrest in Guntur. He was 74. It is learnt that, Jaya Prakash Reddy has been staying in Guntur ever since lockdown was enforced. Entire family tested corona positive, except him and apparently he was shocked to know this. He couldn’t take the news and suffered a heart stroke.
Last seen in Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru, Jaya Prakash Reddy made his debut as an actor with a 1988 film Brahma Puthrudu. However, he shot to fame with his antagonist role in Venkatesh's Preminchukundam Ra and Balakrishna’s Samarasimha Reddy.
Fondly called as JP, he played memorable roles in different genre entertainers. He is one of the rarest actors who after playing negative roles turned a successful comedian.
