This Bollywood Star Was Original Choice For Adipurush!

The moment Young Rebel Star Prabhas announced his high profile entertainer Adipurush with Om Raut of Tanhaji fame signaling his first straight Bollywood film, expectations soared sky high. Prabhas' fans especially from the northern belt are getting super excited.

Speculation started as to who would play the lead roles like Goddess Seetha and Demon King Ravana. Turning the rumors true that Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan would play the role of Ravana, the makers confirmed his entry into the high profile project. 

But inside talk is Saif Ali Khan was not the first choice to play the role of Ravana. The makers contacted top actor Ajay Devgn for the important role. However, Ajay politely rejected the offer citing his busy schedule. It is known the Ajay Devgn is currently playing an important role in Rajamouli's high profile multi starrer RRR featuring Ram Charan, NTR, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris in the lead.

However, many feel that, Ajay Devgn would be a right choice for the role. In fact, Saif Ali Khan has been trolled online ever since his name was announced to play Ravana in Adipurush. Some suggest that, the makers should replace him with other actor for the role.

Speculation is on that the makers are considering the names of Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara and Kiara Advani for the role of Seetha. However, opposition is increasing for Kiara Advani as she earlier starred in bold roles in films like Lust Stories.
