Tholi Prema Director For Pawan’s AK Remake

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is undertaking Chaturmasa Deeksha and is staying at his farmhouse. He is expected to resume the shoot of his latest flick Vakeel Saab from October and he may complete his work in 20 to 25 days. In the meantime, Pawan Kalyan lined up 2 to 3 films.

As we reported earlier, Pawan Kalyan will be starring in the Telugu remake of Malayalam sensational hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi is being considered to play the other lead role. Sithara Entertainments has acquired the rights and Trivikram is said to have mediated for Pawan to sign this project. Now, director for this film is confirmed.

Venky Atluri who made his directorial debut with Varun Tej starrer Tholi Prema will be directing the film. This will be third film for Venky who’s presently directing Nithiin in Rang De.

Sagar Chandra wrote the script for the Telugu version and has reportedly made several changes as suggested by the makers. An official announcement on the project is expected to be made on September 2nd on the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday.
