Stars Compromising For OTT Releases

The current prevailing situation in the country and across the world is sending signals that opening of theatres and having theatrical releases may be a distant dream. Corona virus pandemic impact will be there in the country for another 4-5 months.

Producers should forget about theatrical releases of their films till then. So, few filmmakers are readying to release their films on OTTs. Already low budget films hit the OTT button and it seems few Tollywood stars are also getting ready to press the OTT button.

Already films like Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, Krishna and His Leela got good reviews releasing on OTTs. Now the makers are planning to release big films on OTTs. Though the makers of Nani-Sudheer Babu's V cold shouldered OTTs waiting for theatrical release, now understanding the situation they decided to release the film on Amazon Prime.

Now reports are coming even Sai Dharam Tej's Solo Bratuke So Better and Ravi Teja's Krack is readying for OTT release. Anushka's Nishabdham and few more films are looking at OTT releases.
