Though they are getting fat paychecks like Rs 6-8crs, they are unable to recover even their remuneration through their films forget about the budgets. This is leaving all shell-shocked. C Kalyan who suffered huge losses with VV Vinayak's Intelligent and KS Ravikumar's Ruler says except for Dasari Narayana Rao, K Raghavendra Rao and the exception of Rajamouli none are able to pull the crowds.

C Kalyan said he doesn't want to blame the directors alone for the failures but added that in one film he was unhappy with the second part and in the other the perception of the hero was snot right. He felt that just because a star allotted dates, one shouldn't make films but instead wait for the right script.

Gunasekhar came up with Rudramadevi after the duds like Nippu. He is now coming with Hiranyakasipa with Rana. Krishna Vamsi is reeling under flops with Paisa and Nakshatram. Teja who attracted with Nene Raju Nene Mantri however tasted another flop with Sita.

C Kalyan says except for few, all young directors are lifting ideas from the French, Korean and Hollywood films. He said all of them are not even proper copy cats. He says stars want directors who listen to their ideas which the senior directors do not entertain. He added that viewers are becoming intelligent and are now finding out the imitations in the first looks also and are trolling them for copying from Hollywood films.
