SDT Follows Nani, What Others Waiting For?

Natural Star Nani’s V is all set for OTT release. The film directed by Indraganti Mohana Krishna and co-starring Sudheer Babu will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 5th. Amazon shelled out Rs 33.22 crore to acquire the digital rights. And this is going to be first big ticket Tollywood film to have direct OTT release.

Sai Dharam Tej too accepts to go for OTT release for his film Solo Brathuke So Better. If a grapevine is anything to go by, ZEE 5 has obtained the rights of the film directed by debutante Subbu and official announcement is expected to be made soon.

Except for couple of songs, entire shoot of Solo Brathuke So Better is completed. The makers are planning to shoot the songs in and around Hyderabad. Most probably, they will resume shoot in September.

If things go well, Solo Brathuke So Better will release on Amazon in October, mostly during Dussehra. Nabha Natesh played female lead in the film produced by BVSN Prasad.

On the other hand, there are several other films planned for summer release. Certainly, Anushka’s Nishabdham is also gearing up for OTT release. But, others are still in waiting mode hoping for things to return normalcy in one or two months!
