Mega producer Allu Aravind timely made his foray into OTT arena with Aha when the lockdown was about to be enforced due to corona outbreak. Although it was not as successful as he thought due to limited content, it is not a flop venture either. Besides releasing straight Telugu films, he is also releasing dubbed version of other language films.
Meanwhile, Allu Aravind is said to be furious on ATT for two reasons. It is known that an event management firm began Any Time Theater concept recently. The application is full of adult content and next films set for release in the platform are also adult movies. That’s not at all a worrying factor for Allu Aravind.
Although ATT is no way a competitor for Aha, Allu Aravind didn’t like the idea of pay per view model as small filmmakers may show interest in releasing their films on ATT.
On the other hand, most of the films to be released on ATT are from a controversial filmmaker who is targeting mega family with a series of films. Despite warnings from mega compound, the management of ATT is still backing the maverick maker by releasing his next production and directorial ventures.
If they continue to support the controversial maker, they may look for other options for audio release and other events.
