Ace producer Allu Aravind entered the OTT platform after visualizing its huge market potential. He planned to tap the market catering to the needs of Telugu movie lovers. But lack of quality content undid all his plans and dreams.
To overcome it, he is coming up with a unique business strategy and now speculation is on whether this second hand strategy will power Aha to another level.
Generally there is an impression that only national and international organizations run OTT platforms as it involves a lot of investment and running it is not that easy. Allu Aravind is planning to prove them all wrong.
He made all the films he had as a producer, besides acquiring a few new films and uploaded them on his OTT platform. He recently released Bhanumati Ramakrishna on his own. Generally it costs heavily for releasing this film directly. Even to acquire digital rights exclusively involves huge costs.
So Allu Aravind started a second hand strategy. He is ensuring the release of those films which were released in other OTTs on Aha a little late. He entered into a tie up with other OTTs for the same.
It is known that Krishna and His Leela released on Aha after five days of its release on Netflix. He dubbed the Forensic film in Telugu and released it on Aha. He is planning the same with Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya. He acquired the rights of Trance available on Amazon, dubbed and released it in Telugu.
Since Aha is an exclusive Telugu OTT platform, all the other languages films are getting dubbed and released in Telugu. So Allu Aravind is increasing his content on Aha with minimum expenses releasing already released films in other OTTs or dubbing other languages content.
