Movie lovers cannot forget Balakrishna's folklore film Bhairava Dweepam. The film starring Balakrishna, Roja, and Rambha under the direction of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao was released on 14 Feb 1994 and turned out to be a super hit.

Late Raavi Kondala Rao penned the story for the film produced by B Venkatarami Reddy on Chandamama Vijaya Combines. Raavi Kondala Rao once participating in the talk show hosted by comedian Ali revealed that, “During that time Prabhu Deva's dance 'Chikubuku Chikubuku Raile' in Gentleman became extremely popular.

A distributor said, “If you include Prabhu Deva's song in Bhairava Dweepam, I will buy it. If I buy, all others will buy." For Bhairava Dweepam, Prabhu Deva's father Sundaram master was the choreographer. Prabhu Deva also used to come.

I told the distributor, “If Prabhu Deva was the choreographer we can include his name in the title card, but how can we include Prabhu Deva's dance”. Their demands will be like that. They feel that Prabhu Deva's dance will turn the film into a hit. I do not know how he expected us to include Prabhu Deva's dance as per the story".
