Post Acharya's shoot is wrapped up, Megastar Chiranjeevi is supposed to do the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. But then, recently gossip floated around that Megastar wasn't impressed with the script narrated by director Sujeeth. Eventually, Sujeeth is buzzed to have opted out of the project and the film has gone to shelves.
Nonetheless, latest reports suggest that 'Lucifer' project is very much on. However, Megastar is learnt to have been in a state of confusion about the director to be inducted into the project. Since Chiranjeevi and VV Vinayak combo's Tagore and Khaidi Number 150 turned out to be blockbusters, VV Vinayak is rumoured to be directing Lucifer rename. Incidentally, the combo's previous two films have been remakes. To continue the sentiment, VV Vinayak is expected to helm Megastar's project again.
In another development, Sujeeth is known to have made some changes in the script and is all set to narrate the story to Megastar. If at all, Chiranjeevi is impressed with Sujeeth's script, Sujeeth will be confirmed as Lucifer's director.
Lucifer, as is known, was featured by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. This political thriller is filled with adequate levels of hero elevation scenes.
