Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan has welcomed the decision of 'New Education Policy 2020' that made primary education upto class 5 in mother tongue mandatory.

However, the Janasena chief has opined that the medium should be made 'optional' instead of 'compulsory'. Moreover, he clearly conveyed his opinion to the BJP government parent's views must be taken into consideration while opting for a medium.

This is really a wise decision of Janasena chief, indeed! As we know, more than 96% parents preferred EM education in primary and high schools. If at all the BJP government is adamant with education in mother tongue, the party would face the ire of all sections of parents.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan has sought multi-faceted mode of learning from Intermediate level. He wants various subjects such as painting, music etc. should be inducted at college level to cater the needs of students.

HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal responded on Pawan Kalyan's demand. "Shri @PawanKalyan, your views about multifaceted education were taken into consideration while drafting the final #NEP2020.Under NEP 2020, students will be given increased flexibility & choice of subjects to study so that they can design their own paths of study and life plans," the HRD minister tweeted.
