Actor & Writer Raavi Kondala Rao Passes Away

Eminent writer and actor Raavi Kondala Rao breathed his last on Tuesday, July 28 due to cardiac arrest. He is 88 and is survived by a son. Raavi Kondala Rao's wife Radha Kumaro, who was a noted actress, passed away sometime ago. 

Raavi Kondala Rao was born on 11 February, 1932 at Samarlakota of East Godavari district. He made his film debut with a Shobha released in 1958. He worked for the films such as Ramudu Bheemudu, Tene Manasulu, Preminchi Choodu, Alibaba 40 Dongalu, Chantabbai, Pellipusthakam, Brundavanam, Madam, Bhairava Dweepam, Radha Gopalam and many others. 

Besides, Raavi Kondala Rao acted in TV serials like Kalyasulkam, Radha Madhu etc.

Raavi Kondala Rao worked as an editor of the esteemed film magazine Vijayachitra. Cinejosh is saddened with the demise of this great film personality. Our heartfelt condolences to the family of Raavi Kondala Rao. May his soul rest in peace!
