A significant decision favouring Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan has been taken by the BJP's high command a while ago. The BJP's MLC Somu Veerraju has been conferred the Andhra Pradesh's BJP chief by the party's national president Nadda.
Somu Veerraju, who has been discharging his duties as an MLC from Telangana, hailed from Katheru of East Godavri.
As of now, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana held the responsibilities as a party's president in AP. However, Kanna was alleged to be a staunch loyalist of the TDP. Though he belongs to the BJP, all his gestures appeared to have catered the needs of the TDP.
Having ousted Kanna from the party chief's post in the AP BJP, the BJP high command has taken a wise decision.
On the other hand, Somu Veerraju is said to be the loyalist of Pawan Kalyan. Now that, Janasena and the BJP tied up to contest in all the upcoming polls, Somu's inception as a party's new chief could be said the best strategical move.
