Here is an interesting observation made by movie pundits on satirical films. According to them, satirical films have been made only on Number One heroes in the history of 89 years of Tollywood. Check out the following analysis.
LATE NTR: Late NTR used to take silly and childish decisions during his regime. Irked by his poor administration skills, Superstar Krishna and a few other filmmakers bankrolled satirical films on NTR such as Gandipeta Rahasyam and Mandaladheesudu. NTR's political decisions and his getups were taken a dig at these films.
CHIRANJEEVI: Satirical films on NTR could be justified as the outcomes of NTR's governance were experienced by people. But then, a satirical film was made on Megastar Chiranjeevi even before he contested in general elections, 2009. Dasari was alleged to have developed a lot of grudge and jealousy on Chiranjeevi and made a satirical film 'Mestri' against him.
PAWAN KALYAN: It is believed Pawan Kalyan occupied the Number One position among the heroes of his generation. Meanwhile, RGV's latest venture 'Power Star' is loaded with satires on Power Star Pawan Kalyan's defeat in the general elections, 2019. At the climax, RGV character enters to enlighten Pawan Kalyan with his preachy words.
ANALYSIS: Incidentally, all the above heroes ruled Tollywood as Number One heroes. Some admirers of 'Number One' position say satirical films are confined to only Number One heroes and no such films are made on 'Non Number Ones'. But then, this view was torn apart by some more analysts claiming that there is no such controversial stuff found in other top heroes lives which became the reason for no satirical films on them.
