Tollywood has many beautiful senior and young heroines. The industry always welcomed new actresses with open hands as the makers and the stars always on the lookout to start new combinations.

However, many in the industry and analysts feel Tollywood is facing the dearth of beautiful talent. Tollywood has seen the rise of Kiara Advani, Keerthy Suresh, Rashmika Mandanna, and Pooja Hegde, who scored hits and are romancing top Tollywood stars.

Kiara Advani after romancing Mahesh Babu on debut in Bharat Ane Nenu and then Ram Charan in Vinaya Vidheya Rama is concentrating on Bollywood and is not keen to take any offers in Tollywood.

Pooja Hegde scored numerous hits but many feel she cannot express herself in powerful roles. The situation of Keerthy Suresh is different. She is talented and comes with beautiful expressions as seen in Mahanati but till now she did not score many commercial hits. It has to be seen how she performs in Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

Rashmika Mandanna scored hits but many say she did not do anything in Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Nithin's Bheeshma and the credit goes to the heroes. Raashi Khanna did not get any commercial hit and though Nidhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh scored a blockbuster like iSmart Shankar, top filmmakers and stars are not having confidence in them.

Payal Rajput who stunned all with RX 100 romanced senior stars Venkatesh and Ravi Teja, but she did not get any hits and young heroes are not keen to romance her. Senior heroines Anushka and Nayanthara are capable of scoring commercial hits and at the same time come up with powerful performances. But Nayanthara is concentrating in Tamil while age is fast catching up with Anushka. Rakul Preet Singh, Tamannaah, and Kajal are not getting many offers in Telugu. Samantha after marriage decided to do only performance-oriented roles staying away from commercial films. So Tollywood is facing a dearth of heroines who can blend their performances and score commercial hits attracting A, B, C class viewers.
