Pan India: Telugu Stars Preferences Changed!

South filmmakers especially from Tollywood are fascinated by Bollywood beauties. Now that the makers and almost all stars are smitten with Pan India films, they are keen to have only Bollywood beauties in their films as heroines.

The makers of Prabhas, Nag Ashwin's entertainer which is a sci fi thriller in the futuristic world roped in Deepika Padukone as the heroine. Reports are coming that the makers of NTR and Trivikram's upcoming entertainer are also planning to rope in a Bollywood bombshell. Earlier the makers of Mahesh Babu's Sarkari Vaari Paata planned for a Bollywood beauty but settled for National award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh.

Till recently Tollywood used to get actresses from Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada. However, their tastes and preferences changed and are planning to rope in Bollywood beauties irrespective of their astronomical remuneration demands.

Prabhas romanced Shraddha Kapoor in Saaho. Vidya Balan starred in Balakrishna's NTR biopic. Rajamouli's RRR multi starrer with NTR and Ram Charan has Alia Bhatt as the heroine. Vijay Deverakonda is romancing Ananya Pandey as Fighter under Puri Jagannadh's direction.

Saiee Manjrekar is romancing Varun Tej in his next under the direction of Kiran Korrpati. Pawan Kalyan is romancing Jacqueline Fernandez in Viroopaksha under the direction of Krish.

Trade analysts feel the makers are finalizing Bollywood actresses as they are planning Pan India entertainers. They feel having Bollywood beauties can catch the imagination of north movie lovers and expand their market. Apart from it, they are casting stars from Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi to expand the market.

Even Bollywood actresses are getting ready to star in south and Telugu films. Earlier, only actresses who did not get offers in Bollywood used to look down south. But with the success of Baahubali and KGF, the thin red line is erased and Bollywood actresses are showing interest.
