What A Combo: Suriya, Mani Ratnam, Siddharth, Arvind Swami

If a grapevine is to be believed, Tamil star hero Suriya will be making digital debut with a web series that will be bankrolled by star filmmaker Mani Ratnam with whom he previously worked for Yuva. What’s more, heroes Siddharth and Arvind Swami will direct the web series to be made on grand scale like a feature film.

Titled Navarasa, the series will have nine stories directed by nine different directors. Suriya will feature in one of the episodes to be directed by Jayendra Panchapakesan of 180 fame. Apart from Siddharth, Arvind Swami and Jayendra, six other from Mani Ratnam’s compound will direct other stories.

On the other hand, Suriya is awaiting the release of Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra which was initially planned for summer release. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film is based on events during the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath.
