Young Tiger NTR's fans are recalling the great memories of Simhadri now. There is a reason for recollecting Simhadri's records. The film completes 17 years of its release today.
Having released on 9th of July, 2003, Simhadri stood at all time fourth top grosser of Tollywood next to Indra, Khushi and Narasimha Naidu.
Then industry hit Indra topped the highest grossing films' chart with Rs.33 crore share while previous industry hit Khushi occupied second place with Rs.24 crore share. Another previous industry hit Narasimha Naidfu collected Rs.22 crore in full run.
Young Tiger's Simhadri amassed the full run share of Rs.20 crore. Meanwhile, Simhadri's full run share record was beaten by Tagore film with Rs.28 crore in the same year. In 2003, Tagore became the biggest grosser while Simhadri stood at second place and Okkadu occupied third place with Rs.16 crore full run share.
Simhadri was run 175 days in 53 direct centres which is an all time record even for today.
