Sushant's Girlfriend Ditched Mega Hero!

Mega Star Chiranjeevi's son in law Kalyan Dev made his entry into Tollywood with Vijetha. The film failed to do well at the box office, so he is now treading carefully pinning all his hopes on his upcoming entertainer Super Machi directed by Puli Vasu. Rachita Ram is romancing Kalyan Dev in the film for which music is scored by S Thaman.

Speaking about his role Kalyan said, “My role in Super Machi will be rough from outside and soft from inside. I am playing the role of a singer at a bar. A song and a two-day talkie part is left over. However, not all are risking to start the shoot. I am taking the risk due to my producers. I felt that they shouldn't face financial problems. I spoke about participating in the shooting with my father in law Chiranjeevi. He told me 'One or the other should start at one or the other time. If you feel ok go ahead'. He also told me the precautions I should take".

He added, “Since we shoot outside, I decided to be in self-quarantine. I am staying in a separate room and do all my jobs. I have books and the internet for time pass. After started shooting, I am staying away from my kids. I discuss with my father in law about films and he gives few advice but he did not hear Super Machi script."

Kalyan Dev revealed, “Initially we planned Rhea Chakravarthy as the heroine in the film. However, after few days of shooting, she left saying she had a project with Sushant Singh Rajput. Later we roped in Rachita Ram and reshoot the scenes".

As is known, Rhea Chakravarthy was allegedly in relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput and police recorded her statement after Sushant’s death.
