Corona Effect: Stars Saying Memu Local

Generally, stars show interest in shooting overseas so that they can enjoy visiting different countries and beautiful locations along with their families free of cost. But now, post corona and the lockdown, almost all the stars are saying 'Memu Local'. It is known that COVID 19 hit film industry hard and this is having a powerful impact.

Almost all the makers are following cost-cutting and this is forcing stars to say 'Memu Local'. Top stars like Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, and NTR will be shooting in Hyderabad after the lockdown is lifted and permissions for shootings are given. RRR makers already erected a set in Hyderabad before the lockdown and after wrapping the shoot, they planned a schedule in Pune. But lockdown came into existence and everything came to a standstill. Now the makers decided to wrap up shooting in Hyderabad only erecting a new set. The makers would shoot a few talkie and action scenes.

Though permissions for film shoots are given, the makers cannot shoot in foreign locations as the corona is showing power across the world, and stars also may not show interest. To the top of it, it would burden the producers. So the makers of Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab erected a set in Hyderabad and shooting will resume in the set soon.

The same is the case with Prabhas-Radhakrishna Kumar's project which has an Italian backdrop. The makers are erecting few sets in Hyderabad for the same.
