This Time Prabhas & Rana Combo a Bad Strategy?

Young Rebel Star Prabhas and young hero Rana's combo proved deadly with the runaway successes of Baahubali and Baahubali 2 at the Indian box office. Although Rana played an antagonist as Bhallaladeva, he earned fame on par with Prabhas in the film. In fact, critics acclaimed Rana more than Prabhas

As is known, Mahanati director Nag Ashwin will be directing Prabhas's 21st venture which is going to be a Sci-Fi entertainer. This visual extravaganza will be produced by Aswini Dutt on Vyjayanthi Movies. It's learnt that the director designed a powerful villain role for this film.

On the other side, all of a sudden, rumours have been triggered that Rana would play villain again for Prabhas for Nag Ashwin film. Lately, Rana disclosed that Nag Ashwin captured his workout pics. Besides, Rana and the director have been good friends. Moreover, Nag Ashwin discussed recently with Suresh Babu and Rana on liquor sales in film theatres. Having gone through all these developments, gossip-mongers tattled that Rana would be roped in for this project.

However, it's a bad strategy, especially for Rana, indeed! Rana made his debut to Tollywood as a hero and is busy with Virataparvam and Aranya as a hero. Admit that Rana did a villain in Rajamouli's film. But then, a Rajamouli's film needs that sort of relaxations and flexibility of the actors. Not every film becomes a Baahubali to bring enormous fame to Rana. Need of the hour says Rana would rather do films in hero roles instead of opting for villain role in spite of it being a film of his good friends like Nag Ashwin and Prabhas

Moreover, audience may feel monotonous watching Prabhas and Rana's combo repeatedly on screen.

All in all, Rana and Prabhas's combo would become a bad strategy this time!
