You're Not A Lover Boy, Director Cautions!

Energetic Star Ram scored a resounding hit with the high octane mass action entertainer iSmart Shankar directed by Puri Jagannadh. He is now starring in RED under the direction of Kishore Tirumala.

Ram speaking about the delay over his film RED release said, “This film will release some or the other day. However, corona affected society in a big way. Many are suffering without even having food. We can recover the losses of one film with another film. First of all society should be good".

On RED getting OTT offers he said, “It is true that few good offers came. But we will release the film in the theatres. Watching in the theatre will give a different experience. This is an investigative thriller with mass elements and one gets kick watching in theatres".

On doing RED after iSmart Shankar, Ram revealed, “Before iSmart Shankar I decided to tread a different line. I never felt like doing love stories after iSmart Shankar. I felt the Red story is novel. I did a dual role in the film. People got shocked after watching iSmart Shankar. It will be good if I give similar shocks to each of my films".

Ram further said, "I got vexed up doing lover boy and feel good roles. I went to Puri Jagannadh with frustration and told 'We should do completely different film'. He smiled and said 'you are not a lover boy. You are this. No one used you in this manner. I will" and started iSmart Shankar".
