Anushka’s Silence Sparks A Silent Deal

Movie lovers have been eagerly waiting for a powerful treat from Sweety Anushka. It’s been a long overdue after her powerful performances in Rajamouli’s Baahubali and Bhaagamatie. Though she starred in Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa, it was only a cameo. Anushka showed her power in the role of freedom fighter Jhansi Lakshmi Bai in the film.

Fans have been waiting for the release of her upcoming crossover film Silence titled Nishabdham in Telugu. The film directed by Hemant Madhukar should have been released on April 2nd. However the spread of corona virus and the subsequent lockdown came as a death knell to entire film industry.

Sometime back rumours spread that the makers were planning to release the film on OTT platform. During that time, the makers rubbished the rumours saying their film is up for release in theatres. But the extension of lockdown, put paid their plans.

In the midst of all this, reports are coming that the makers have struck a deal with an OTT platform and an official announcement is expected to come within couple of days.  The film stars Madhavan, Shalini Pandey and Anjali in important roles. The star cast of Nishabdham is attracting many OTT platforms to offer the makers attractive amounts.
