King Nagarjuna scored his last hit with Soggade Chinni Naayana. The film directed by Kalyan Krishna left sweet memories for all those who were part of the project.

Lavanya Tripathi who romanced Nagarjuna in the film scored a memorable blockbuster. She scored her biggest hit in her career with this film. Lavanya attracted all with her lovely looks, cute expressions in the film.

However, Lavanya came up with a stunner about Soggade Chinni Nayana. She said when she was contacted for the role, many gave her negative feedback. She said all her close aides told her that if she romances Nagarjuna in the early days of her career, she would be branded for such roles and would get only such typecast roles. She said she signed the film reluctantly and surprised all saying she even informed the same to Nagarjuna.

Lavanya said, "Nagarjuna, however, rubbished all that negative talk and told me many good things. He gave me good guidance in my career. Even now when I need any advices regarding my career, I will consult Nagarjuna."

Regarding criticism over her roles, she said, "I got the negative feedback that my makeup was not good in Unnadi Okate Zindagi and even I felt the same and from then on I am taking extra care. I am responsible for the flops in my career before Arjun Suravaram became a hit. I had to sign few roles though they were not good due to other reasons. Currenly, I am doing the role of a hockey player in A1 Express and also a couple of Tamil films".
