New Mega Hero Becomes Lucky Then

Supreme hero Sai Tej's brother and Megastar Chiranjeevi's nephew Vaishnav Tej's debut film Uppena was supposed to hit screens on April 1. However, the film had to be deferred indefinitely doe to the lockdown imposed by the union government in the wake of outspread of coronavirus pandemic in India. 

While lockdown is expected to be lifted in the month of May, film theatres maybe reopened from July. Meanwhile, producer Suresh Babu made it clear that the films which were scheduled to be released in the months of March and April would be given first priority for release to avoid heavy rush of releases. 

In such scenario, Vaishnav Tej's Uppena will be released right away after lockdown is lifted. Since movie audience are starved to watch films, they will surely throng to theaters. following the norms to be suggested by the governments to maintain social distance. All in all, Vaishnav Tej will be luckier to have got an opportunity to avail the advantage. 

Uppena was directed by Sukumar's protege Sana Buchibabu. Kriti Shetty has romanced Vaishnav Tej while Vijay Sethupathy will be seen as her father. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad has provided film's music.
