Corona Cases Cross 800 Mark In AP

The total coronavirus positive cases in Andhra Pradesh have crossed 800 mark. With 56 new cases were registered in the state in the last 24 hours, the tally reaches 813. A total of 5,757 samples were tested during last 24 hours, of which 5,701 turned negative.

Kurnool and Guntur districts continued to maintain a worrisome trend as they added 19 new cases each, accumulating 203 and 177 respectively, the top two in the state. Guntur district also reported two more deaths in the last 24 hours, taking its tally to eight, which is the highest in the state.

The total number of patients discharged in the state now increased to 120. AP now has 669 active coronavirus cases.

With 1,383 fresh coronavirus cases reported in India in past 24 hours, the total number of cases in India has gone up to 19,984, according to the latest data from Ministry of Health.
