In the wake of 21-day lockdown with spreading of coronavirus pandemic and subsequent extension of the same for 19 more days, the aspirants, who wish to get educated in India's renowned engineering and medical colleges have been thrown into a nonplussing state by the union government.
JEE Mains phase 2 examinations which, earlier, were scheduled in the second week of April have been postponed indefinitely. Now that the lockdown is extended upto May 3, rumours have been rife that the examinations are set for a prolonged deferment.
In such case, The JEE Advanced examinations, which were, hitherto, scheduled on May 17, will also have been deferred indefinitely. As we know, JEE Mains paves the way for joining India's prestigious NITS, GFTIs and IIits. Similarly, students who wish to study in India's ultimately best engineering colleges, Iits, should clear JEE advanced with high ranks.
On the other hand, National Eligibility Cum Entrace Test (NEET) makes students get best education in medical, dental and homeopathic colleges.
Apart from aforementioned prestigious entrance examinations, students are eagerly waiting to appear BITSAT, VIT, Amritha, SRM, Manipal and many other prestigious entrance tests of deemed to be universities.
Enough!! The Indian government has taken overboard measures to prevent coronavirus prevention. It's high time they let the top universities conduct the entrance exams so as to ensure students not to lose their precious academic year.
