Modi's Another Innovative Appeal to the Nation

The Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi reiterated that togetherness and harmony will make the people fight against the ghastly coronavirus pandemic effectively. He appealed the nation to turn off the lights of their homes for 9 minutes at 9 pm on Sunday, April 5 to showcase the strength and togetherness of the people to the world. Following are the excerpts of his speech. 

* It's an unprecedented support extended by you to fight against the dreadful disease.

* Our fight against the horrendous disease turned a replica and exemplary for other countries. The world is looking up to India now.

* Entire nation has been united to fight the disease for the past nine days.

* Though we got ourselves isolated in homes, no one, in fact, is alone coz. each one has the support of 130 crore people. Furthermore, everyone can make a difference.

* On Sunday, 5 April we all should challenge corona. On that day, sharp at 9 pm, everyone must turn their lights off for 9 minutes. And then, light your candles or switch your mobile phone lights on. Also, no one should stay outside at that moment. Above all, you should not violate social distancing norms. And this act of us will show the world our unity and togetherness.
