Pretty Beauty's NO Irks Mahesh's Wife

Superstar Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar once happened to be a Bollywood star and former Miss India. She did a couple of films and then fell in love with Mahesh Babu, entered into wedlock and quit acting.

With her children Gautam and Sitara growing up, Namrata decided to turn producer and at the same time look after her husband Mahesh Babu's film deals.

Namrata is producing a film with talented actor Adivi Sesh. The film is titled Major and is the biography of NSG Commando Sandeep Unni Krishnan. She planned to cast Pooja Hegde as the female lead and contacted her for the same. Namrata and Pooja share good relations ever since Pooja starred opposite Mahesh Babu in Maharshi.

Due to this bonding, Namrata suggested Pooja Hegde for the role and when contacted Pooja happily agreed. However, she gave a huge shock demanding a whopping Rs 2.5crs. Pooja is of late is on a success spree and hiked her remuneration from 1.5 to 2.5crs. Namrata Shirodkar tried to convince Pooja Hegde and when she contacted her manager, to speak to her, she came with a stern 'NO'.

Namrata turned furious over Pooja's behavior and now decided to rope in another Bollywood actress in place of Pooja. Earlier rumors spread that Namrata was instrumental in Mahesh opting out of Chiranjeevi's Acharya as she forced her husband to ask a whopping Rs 30crs for 30 days call sheet while Megastar offered him Rs 15crs.
