Started her career in 1999 with the film Jodi where she played a supporting role, Trisha has seen many ups and downs in her career. When everyone thought she is fast disappearing, she got a big break with 96 which landed her in the high profile projects like Rajinikanth’s Peta.
However, the biggest opportunity she got when Tollywood almost forgot Trisha was of megastar Chiranjeevi’s ongoing film Acharya with Koratala Siva. The actress listened to script and even okayed the project. But, few changes in the script caused her to opt out of the film. She feels that, if another heroine is roped in for the film, she will look old. She cited creative differences as the reason for walking out of the film.
But, many wonder, what kind of roles Trisha is anticipating at the fag-end of her career. Of course, she has good number of films in Tamil. But, none of them are crazy projects like Acharya. So, one or two flops will put an end to her career in Kollywood.
Needless to say that, with the shock she gave, Telugu filmmakers will not even consider her for their films. Had she accepted to be part of Acharya, she surely would have grabbed some good offers in Telugu.
