Vijay Deverakonda & Puri's Film Title Poor Response?

Youth Crazy hero Vijay Deverakonda and maverick director Puri Jagannadh's forthcoming film is currently on sets. Some days ago, it was heard that the film's title would be confirmed as 'Liger'. When the film unit's sources were asked the meaning of this strange title, they said it's the blend of 'Lion' and 'Tiger'. "Li' from lion and 'ger' from tiger were taken. Liger is an animal that has the features of both lion and the tiger," they said. 

However, Liger is also a synonym for the animal 'Cat'. Since 'Cat' is not a symbol for heroism, Vijay's fans have reportedly appealed Puri to get the film's title changed. Right now, the makers are busy contemplating to confirm another title for the film. Hitherto, the film's title was also pondered to be 'Fighter'.

Vijay Deverkonda will be seen as a martial artist in this action entertainer. The film is being made as a pan Indian film.
