RRR: Rajamouli’s Mind-Blowing Strategy!

SS Rajamouli is a Mr Perfectionist who doesn’t compromise on anything if he is not pleased with what he’s shot. He goes for re-shoots which is a common practice. This indeed is the main reason why his films get delayed to scheduled dates. Likewise, Rajamouli’s ongoing film Rrr with mega power star Ram Charan and young tiger NTR got postponed.

Rrr release was initially planned for July 30th. Nonetheless, the makers officially confirmed to release the film during Sankranthi in 2021. But, delay in shoot or other works is not the reason behind the film’s postponement. Then, why Rrr is not arriving on time?

The entire shoot of Rrr will be wrapped up by August end. Post-production works are also happening simultaneously. All the works will be completed by October end. But, Rajamouli is delaying the release on a purpose.

For a film of its range, Rajamouli and team want a big season like Sankranthi. More importantly, like his previous films, Rajamouli will be taking sufficient time to promote the film in all the languages along with his lead cast and crew.

They will stay in Mumbai for promotion of the film’s Hindi version. NTR and Ram Charan will also take part in interviews, press meets and other promotional events. They indeed feel it as a right opportunity to expand their market.

For now, no noted Telugu film will be hitting the screens in competition for Rrr during Sankranthi. The makers are trying hard for solo release in Hindi and other languages as well.
