It was 2013. A fake agitation named 'Samaikyandhra Movement' was initiated by Apngos under the guidance of then opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu, then CM N Kiran Kumar Reddy and caste biased yellow media.
In fact, both the TDP and CM NKR acutely knew that there was no such dire need of the agitation as the state bifurcation would be inevitable in spite of any sort of protest. Yet again, Apngos unnecessarily resorted to indefinite strike that lasted for 70+ days.
"And did you know how much loss had the AP state's treasury incurred? It was around Rs.20000 crores. Apngos president Ashok Babu, CBN, NKR, media baron Een*** head and a few more casteists are responsible for the huge loss," says an employee, who recalled those dreadful days.
In the meanwhile, the YSRCP government issued a show cause notice to Apngo union for inviting then CM CBN and some more ministers of TDP during the TDP's regime. The government questioned why shouldn't Apngo union's recognition is cancelled on the charges of collaborating politicians. Likely, the Apngos recognition would be cancelled soon.
