Sugali Preeti Case to CBI, Janasena Grand Victory

An SSC student Sugali Preeti from a renowned private high school in the outskirts of Kurnool city, was allegedly molested and brutally murdered in her hostel room three years ago. Despite the outcry and protests of her mother Sugali Parvati and Banjaara Rights Union, no justice was done to Sugali Preeti. 

It was alleged that some high profile personalities were involved in Sugali Preeti's rape and murder and which is why the police, reportedly, paid deaf ear on the issue. 

Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan, however, took the issue seriously and initiated a huge agitation in the city of Kurnool recently. The meeting was attended by huge turn up of students and Kurnool youth. The Janasena president demanded the CBI's probe on the case. 

In the wake of the grand success of the agitation in the city of Kurnool led by Pawan Kalyan, the ruling YSRCP has made out the sensitivity of the issue. Quite sensibly, the ruling party handed over the case to the CBI. 

Exhilarated by the government's prompt response, Pawan Kalyan felt the government's action would bestow Sugali Preeti's family a sigh of relief. Besides, he appreciated Jana Sainiks, leaders and peoples organizations. 

All said and done, it's said to be a grand victory of Janasena as an opposition force.
