Big Jolt For Bheeshma: BJP Demands Title Change!

The stage is set for a spectacular release of Bheeshma on February 21st. Nithin will be seen in the role of Bheeshma Prasad and is romancing Sandalwood seductress Rashmika Mandanna in the youthful romantic entertainer.

Even as movie lovers are getting excited, Bheeshma is getting protests shock. BJP Dharmik Cell convener Tumuluri Sri Krishna Chaitanya, principal secretary Rathakaram Ramu and others demanded a change of title from the makers.

They alleged that using the name of a great warrior and personality like Bheeshma Pitamah in Mahabharata for the film title will hurt the sentiments of the Hindus. They questioned how the makers can use Bheeshma title for the lover boy film while Bheeshma remained single forever throughout his life.

They warned that if the makers do not change the film title, they will stall the film's screening and will also approach the court against the makers.
