Chiranjeevi’s First Director Passes Away

Director Gudapati Rajkumar who introduced megastar Chiranjeevi as hero with Punadhirallu has passed away today in Hyderabad due to old age related ailments. The veteran director was unwell for some time and Chiranjeevi who came to know about his health condition admitted him in Apollo Hospital. However, he passed away today in the morning.

Gudapati Rajkumar’s elder son died recently. After that, his wife also breathed her last. His financial condition is in bad shape. He was residing in rental house in Hyderabad. Rajkumar’s younger son is making arrangement to shift his body to his native place in Vuyyuru near Vijayawada.

Punadhirallu also marks directorial debut for Gudapati Rajkumar. The director besides Chiranjeevi also introduced few other actors to Tollywood.
