Trash News: Chiranjeevi As a YCP Rajyasabha MP

Megastar Chiranjeevi appeared to have given up politics for the past couple of years. In the meantime, he turned a busy bee in doing a series of films. Besides, the Megastar got excellent reception in his comeback with Khaidi Number 150 and Sye Raa Narasimhareddy. 

However, of late, Chiranjeevi delivered a few politics connected statements through video messages and press notes. He praised YSRCP's initiation on Disha act and the party's 3 capitals plan.

In the wake of Megastar's praises on YCP's schemes, some YCP leaders, lately, speculated that Chiranjeevi would be offered Rajyasabha MP post on behalf of YSRCP soon. 

And this gossip was spread by a YCP biased news channel in its 'Political Bajji' (name changed) programme.

Nevertheless, sources close to Chiranjeevi made it clear that it was merely a trash news. "Chiranjeevi garu is busy with films at the moment and is not interested in doing active politics. The fake news spread by YCP leaders was due to YCP leaders want to get some mileage in upcoming local body polls. That's it," says a reliable source.
