Nikhil Proposes In Filmy Style In Goa

Nikhil who recently scored a hit with Arjun Suravaram broke the hearts of many female fans by getting engaged to his girlfriend Dr Pallavi Varma, a practicing doctor who hails from Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh. Both will enter into wedlock on April 16.

Nikhil speaking about his love and marriage plans said till he met Pallavi at a common friend's party, marriage was the last in his priority list. He said however after watching her, he got cupid struck and it was love at first sight. Nikhil added, “I asked my friends for her number (smiles) and then I started talking to her and I learned that she was doing Medicine in Bangalore.”

Revealing his romantic journey, Nikhil said he even went to her college to meet her and both spent quality time together. He said after some time, they decided to get the green signal from parents. He added when he decided to propose to her on Feb 1st in Goa, he shared, “I wanted to propose to her and give the entire episode a filmy touch. But it was tough. (Laughs). I went down on my knee and proposed on a beautiful evening in Goa. She was surprised and blushed. She then asked me to speak to her parents, and I obliged.”  

Singing praises of his lady love, he said "I have someone special in my life now. She is a doctor. She is very understanding; she never disturbs me when I'm shooting or out with my friends. She will not check my phone. She says 'chill whenever you want' and understands that everyone needs their own space, which is what I like the most."

Nikhil is currently busy with Karthikeya sequel and also a project with Geetha Arts.
