Did you know? Both Ram Charan and Allu Arjun dominated Mahesh Babu in face to face battle with their films.

Ram Charan's Naayak and Mahesh Babu's SVSC hit screens during Sankranthi season, 2013. Both the films recorded super hits. Yet, Naayak got more collections in India than SVSC. Besides, SVSC was made as a multi-starrer while Ram Charan was a solo hero in Naayak.

Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan again battled for Sankranthi, 2014 with their films 1-Nenokkadine and Yevadu. 1-Nenokkadine was immensely appreciated by the critics and awarded better ratings. Strangely, Yevadu stood as a box winner while 1-Nenokkadine turned as a disaster.

And now, this Sankranthi witnessed straight fight between Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun with their films Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. AVPL stood as an industry hit while SLN turned a super hit in Telugu states.

Here, the million dollar question is that why Ram Charan and Allu Arjun dominated Mahesh Babu with their films? In fact, 1-Nenokkdadine and SVSC got better ratings than Naayak and Yevadu. On the other hand, SLN is loaded with more mass masala elements than AVPL.

According to the analysts, huge mega fan base could be one of the reasons behind commendable openings and closing collections of Ram Charan and Allu Arjun's films. On the other hand, Mahesh Babu's filmmakers would always prefer poster collections and overboard boosting on their films which might have created a bit negative impact which eventually affected Mahesh Babu's films at the box office.

However, when a Mahesh Babu's film is made with all the required elements for movie lovers, industry hit is a cakewalk for Mahesh Babu and it's a proven fact with the industry hits like Pokiri and Srimanthudu.
