Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma who is known to make films on real-life incidents and hog the media limelight has been silent for quite some time. This doesn't mean that he is away from making controversial films.
After the shock he received with Beautiful, a tribute to his cult classic Rangeela, he is set to release his next, a Hollywood film Enter The Lady Dragon.
Now, Ram Gopal Varma decided to analyze the rapists' minds with a film titled Disha based on the brutal gang rape and murder of Hyderabad veterinary doctor. Sharing the details Rgv shared his feelings and details in the following manner.
My next film is titled “DISHA” which is going to be about the DISHA rape ..After the brutal rape and horrific murder of NIRBHAYA, the DISHA rapists went further in their ghastliness in actually burning the poor girl with petrol #DishaNirbhayaTruth
