Many are left wondering as to who is falling under whose trap after seeing the decision making of superstar Mahesh Babu. Is Mahesh Babu who is getting paid astronomical amount as remuneration is really taking due care in the selection of scripts?

It is a proven fact the Mahesh after the shocks of Brahmostsavam, Spyder is not showing interest in doing variety roles. All the directors teaming up with Mahesh, except Koratala Siva is playing a safe game when it comes to stories. These films with average content are reaching breakeven but are not performing as per Mahesh Babu's range.

If Mahesh Babu's film turns out to be a hit, there will not be any space for other films. However Mahesh is not selecting novel storylines. He does not get any boost to his stardom with films like Maharshi and Sarileru Neekevvaru. His range will not penetrate into new markets. Mahesh seems to be in a defensive mindset after his quest for Pan India market failed with Spyder.

Mahesh Babu shunted Sukumar who presented Rangasthalam blockbuster to Ram Chandra for a ordinary Sarileru Neekevvaru. He who set a new trend with mass entertainers should look for films like Pokiri and Okkadu.

Seems the makers using sugar coated words are making Mahesh fall in a trance. Almost all the recent films of Mahesh have many loopholes. But few directors are painting a rosy picture as though they are industry hits.

In Maharshi except for the farmers episode in the second half everything looked routine. But the film did well due to summer season and Mahesh Babu stardom. Same is the case with Sarileru Neekevvaru. Train episode didn't work out and the entire second half along with the climax went for a toss.

Had the film didn't release during Sankranti, it wouldn't have got even the average collections. Better the directors stop taking Mahesh for a ride and come with novel and powerful plots.
